University degree in relevant field(Electrical/mechanical)
Experience in the same field of HSE in the construction project (Power/ Energy)
Computer literate and excellent oral and written Communication skills.
Knowledge of (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, first aids) Fluent in English and Arabic - Spoken and Written
Organize, implement and manage the HSE functions at site as per company’s / Project’s HSE plan.
Deliver site safety induction courses for the new staff.
Implementing emergency procedures.
Performs inspections and provide the support or alert the project team of any potential problem or hazard.
Conducting internal audits
Attend monthly meeting and reporting on HSE performance, safety accidents and incidents.
Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on new sites and design risk mitigation measures.
Develop all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE Management System to be compliant with OHSAS 18001/2007 and ISO 14001/ 2004 standards, including corrective and preventive measures.
Assist with the implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspect job site activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situations;
Assist local management in the preparation and presentation of field HSE meetings;
Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses;
Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations;
Supervise and assist regular emergency response exercises and drills to ensure the
Highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintains records of such drills,
providing recommendations for emergency response improvements;
Supervise on-site doctors and medical emergency response preparation and implementation;
Ensure that operations employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions for theatre operations.
Performs inspections and witness tests and provide the support or alert the project team of any potential problem.
Ensure optimum utilization, calibration, repair and maintenance of measuring and testing equipments and firefighting tools
Conducting internal safety audits.
Attend monthly meeting and prepare the safety reports
